// RELAUNCHING SEPTEMBER 15 //
Join other students for a time of fellowship and study every Tuesday night at 6pm. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be meeting at University Chapel and following regional health and safety guidelines. We are only able to have 15 people in person each week, so are asking everyone to RSVP.
Once a month we have a film night and a few times a semester we have special guest come in to teach on a specific topic.
Email email@example.com if you have any questions.
The Scriptorium is our new name for the downstairs room at UC (at least when it is being used for learning and study). In the middle ages the scriptorium was the space in a monastery that was set aside for scribes to work with manuscripts. It means 'a place of writing.'
We invite you to come by and study on Tuesday or Thursday from 1-5pm. We can have a maximum of ten people. There is wifi and enough power outlets for everyone.
You must sign in, have a mask, and not move around unnecessarily from your designated study space. We are opening the windows, running fans, sanitizing frequently and keeping everyone spaced apart.
The Burrow is an intentional community home right next to UBC. It is a literal home for some and a home-away-from home for others. Whether you need a place to study or to rest, our door is open.
The Burrow is the hub of our study centre ministry here at the university. Most of our events, whether film nights, public lectures, book clubs, or games nights, happen at The Burrow.
*NOTE: During the COVID-19 Pandemic, these events are either being held online or at University Chapel, where there is more space.
